THE PROJECT

Balducci’s is having a new location grand opening. The goal is to design a User Experience and propose an Interface that is fresh and inviting for people to come to the new Store Grand Opening and let customer’s know that they are a one stop shop for both healthy alternatives as well as a full gourmet store..

THE CHALLENGE

The main objective of the microsite is to gain clientele concerning and show the quality that Balducci’s has to offer concerning the finest, freshest, most extraordinary ingredients for the discerning, the adventurous, the discriminating, the passionate for celebrating a life well-lived.

USER RESEARCH AND DISCOVERY

We conducted research, persona’s and site survey’s concerning the store location. We also conducted an area search to find Balducci’s competitors as well as past analytics of store openings in this area to find out what could be expected in over all turnout and consistency in ROI and KPI values.

WHAT DID BALDUCCI’S LEARN?

We found that this would be the first time in the Rye Brook area that they would have a store of this sort. We found in our site survey and potential customer surveys that they would welcome a store of this nature and that there was a great need. We conducted past analytics of store openings and what statics would show in offering a store in this unique and wonderful area of Rye Brook and found that this area holds a high concentration of up-and-coming professionals as well as established families that would have a great need for entertaining and have a great need for a store of this sort.

THE SOLUTION

To create a microsite that is both inviting, bright and professional.

To gain customer trust as a leader in extrodianry fine gourmet goods.

Drive ROI’s and ultimately help grow sales, and increase KPI’s.

The personality and tone should be professional, convincing, bright and trustworthy. 

The voice should speak to young and established professionals but should lean towards a clean design that holds an “Bright edge” and welcoming.

We’ll show how our Grand Opening can lead to ROI’s and meet the statistics needs and value.
